Hadronic effects in Møller scattering at NNLO

چکیده
A bstract Two-loop electroweak corrections to polarized Møller scattering are studied in two different schemes at low energies. We find the finite Q 2 be well under control. The hadronic and perturbative QCD γZ two-point function incorporated through weak mixing angle energies, which introduce an error of 0 . 08 × 10 − 3 charge electron $$ {Q}_W^e Q W e Furthermore, by studying scheme dependence, we obtain estimate current uncertainty, \delta δ ≈ 23 , is five times smaller than precision estimated for MOLLER experiment ( = 1 ). Future work possible reduce theory further.

Bhabha Scattering at NNLO
We review the status of the calculation of next-to-next-to-leading order corrections to large angle Bhabha scattering in pure QED. After discussing the electron-loop and photonic corrections, we focus on the recently calculated two-loop virtual corrections involving a heavy-flavor fermion loop. We conclude by assessing the numerical impact of these corrections on the Bhabha scattering cross sec...
متن کاملFixed Target Møller Scattering at the NLC
I discuss the measurement of the parity violating left-right asymmetry in the scattering of high energy polarized electrons from the atomic electrons in a liquid hydrogen target. The asymmetry, due to the interference between the weak and electromagnetic amplitudes, measures the product of the vector and axialvector couplings of the electron to the Z boson, and is thus proportional to 1 4 sin W...
متن کاملNNLO corrections to charmless hadronic B decays
We report on the status of the perturbative calculation in the QCD factorization framework to charmless hadronic B meson decays and present a compilation of available NNLO results. * Speaker. † I would like to thank Volker Pilipp for a fruitful collaboration on part of the subjects presented in this article and the organizers of EFT09 for creating a pleasant and stimulating workshop atmosphere.
متن کاملHadronic photon-photon scattering at LEP
Hadronic interactions of two quasi-real photons have been studied extensively both during the LEP1 and the LEP2 data taking periods. The higher energies available at LEP2 in particular opened regions of phase space where hadronic processes can be predicted reliably by perturbative QCD calculations, usually available to next-to-leading order in the strong coupling constant for the process concer...
